Inspect namespaces, properties and the original XMP packet
Read JPEG standard/extended XMP, PNG iTXt XMP and WebP XMP. Extended JPEG data is reconstructed by GUID, declared length and offsets. XML and URLs are never executed or loaded. Stored declarations do not authenticate an image.
JPEG/WebP up to 20 MB; PNG up to 10 MB with the existing text limits. The bounded property reader supports scalar RDF properties, arrays and resource attributes. Nested schemas remain in the raw XML. Project-authored images and fictional metadata. The embedded sRGB profile was generated by Pillow 12.3.0 / LittleCMS with a fixed header date; it is not a display calibration.
Supported files and output
JPEG standard/extended XMP, PNG iTXt and WebP XMP. Raw packets, namespace URIs, arrays and supported properties remain distinct. JPEG/WebP inputs are bounded to 20 MiB and 5 MiB total XMP; PNG follows the 10 MiB file / 256 KiB field / 1 MiB text limits. Extended packets are reconstructed by GUID, length and offset. XML and linked resources are never executed or fetched.
Read the result with its coverage
Stored fields can be edited, copied or removed. A successful read describes the selected file’s supported containers; missing fields cannot be recovered from its pixels. A damaged or unsupported container has its own result. Review private values before copying or sharing a report.
These file operations run locally. The separate image checker can send file-header data and a reduced image copy for a model reading. Read the method and limitations when that is the task you need.
