Inspect and extract the embedded color profile
Read JPEG APP2 ICC sequences, PNG iCCP and WebP ICCP. View actual header version, device class, color space, description and byte length; download the complete extracted profile. This does not calibrate a display, verify image colors or certify full ICC compliance.
ICC v2/v4 headers and desc/mluc descriptions are inspected with tag bounds and decompression limits. Other profile types remain downloadable with warnings. Project-authored images and fictional metadata. The embedded sRGB profile was generated by Pillow 12.3.0 / LittleCMS with a fixed header date; it is not a display calibration. No files are uploaded.
Supported files and output
JPEG APP2 packet sequences, PNG iCCP and WebP ICCP, up to 20 MiB input. Profiles are bounded to 4 MiB each and 8 MiB total, with tag/description limits. Extracts original profiles and inspects v2/v4 headers and supported descriptions. A missing embedded profile is not an inferred sRGB profile; this is not calibration or full ICC conformance validation.
Read the result with its coverage
Stored fields can be edited, copied or removed. A successful read describes the selected file’s supported containers; missing fields cannot be recovered from its pixels. A damaged or unsupported container has its own result. Review private values before copying or sharing a report.
These file operations run locally. The separate image checker can send file-header data and a reduced image copy for a model reading. Read the method and limitations when that is the task you need.
